Here's a quick tip to help keep your RV safe:

✅ Retract your awning when you're away from your site or if storms are in the forecast.

Even a brief afternoon thunderstorm can bring strong wind gusts that can damage an extended awning in just a few minutes.

A little prevention today can save you a big repair bill tomorrow! 👍

This Independence Day is one for the history books as we celebrate America's 250th Birthday! ❤️🤍💙

Whether you're firing up the BBQ, heading to a local parade, watching fireworks light up the Space Coast, or simply relaxing with family and friends, we hope your day is filled with laughter, gratitude, and unforgettable memories.

Whether you're celebrating at the beach, on the boat, around the grill, or watching fireworks, the record-breaking summer heat wave making its way across the country this weekend can sneak up on you, especially here in Florida. 🌡️

Stay safe and enjoy the holiday by remembering these simple tips:

💧 Drink plenty of water—even if you don't feel thirsty.
🧴 Apply (and reapply!) sunscreen throughout the day.
🧢 Wear a hat, sunglasses, and lightweight, light-colored clothing.
🌴 Take breaks in the shade or air conditioning whenever possible.
🍺 If you're drinking alcohol, alternate with water to stay hydrated.
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle—not even for a minute.
❤️ Check in on older adults, young children, and anyone who may be more vulnerable to the heat.

A little preparation goes a long way toward making this Independence Day safe, fun, and memorable for everyone.

🐢🌊 One of the coolest experiences of living at Holiday Village RV Park is having Florida's incredible Space Coast right in your backyard!

Sea turtle nesting season is underway, and thousands of sea turtles are coming ashore along our local beaches to lay their eggs. If you've never seen a nesting sea turtle, this is a truly unforgettable Florida experience. 💙

Several nearby organizations offer guided nighttime turtle walks where you can learn about these amazing creatures while observing nesting activity in a responsible way:

🐢 Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge
🐢 Sebastian Inlet State Park
🐢 Barrier Island Center
🐢 Sea Turtle Preservation Society
🐢 Brevard Zoo's Sea Turtle Walks

Remember: Sea turtles need dark, quiet beaches to nest successfully. If you're visiting the beach at night, avoid flashlights, flash photography, and getting too close to nesting turtles.

🌞 Summer has arrived at Holiday Village! 🌴

With warm weather and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, there's no better place to spend the season.

Whether you're enjoying a dip at nearby Playalinda beach, fishing, exploring one of the many nature trails nearby, or simply enjoying a quiet sunrise coffee outside, summer in our neck of the woods is all about slowing down and appreciating the little things. 🎣☕🌿
