Experience fall on the Milwaukee River with Milwaukee Riverkeeper !

Join Riverkeeper staff for a guided Fall Colors Paddle on Friday, October 16 at 2:30 PM through one of the most scenic stretches of the river. They’ll lead the way while Forward Outdoor provides the kayaks, gear, and logistics to make getting on the water easy.

Beginner-friendly, no experience necessary, and a portion of every registration benefits Milwaukee Riverkeeper and their work protecting our local waterways.

Fall Colors trips run Friday through Sunday until October 18th.

Once the season ends ⏳, it ends.

Your booking includes the shuttle, kayak, paddle, and life jacket, so there's nothing else to arrange.

If a river day has been sitting on your fall list, pick a weekend before the leaves come down!

It's usually the quiet connection to nature.

The orange leaves rustle, a cool breeze brushes your face, and everything is still except for your paddle breaking the water.

Paddle. Beach bonfire. S’mores.

Join us tomorrow night for a special Bonfire Social Paddle in partnership with Friends of Lakeshore State Park !

We’ll paddle together, led by Cathy Stadler, from our Dock at Discovery World to the beach at Lakeshore State Park, where we’ll pull the boats ashore and gather around a bonfire for s’mores and time to hang out before paddling back.

Come solo, bring a friend, or make it a date night—this is all about getting outside, meeting people, and experiencing Milwaukee’s lakefront in a completely different way.
