The first quarter of 2019 saw the opportunity for EAF to continue to soar. Activity is high, applications working through the credit process fast and simple. Always some excitement here at EAF, whether it be a US$60.0M international loan or the financing of a beautiful yacht for a current client. As the steam engines for Eagle Aviation Finance business are primed and stoked for a successful 2019, I have had an opportunity to reflect on EAF’s 2018 results. EAF had a banner year surpassing even some of the best years of the mid 2000’s. EAF realized continued growth in the domestic and international markets. The numbers are a bit confusing with pre-owned aircraft having a considerable lower price today than a comparable aircraft to pre 2008. The need to originate and fund twice as many aircraft to hit the same volume goal was originally considered a stretch but ended with results above those lofty goals.
More and more aircraft outside of the USA are obtaining financing/leasing which is great for us. While some countries can be difficult to conduct business, our under writers, etc. appreciate a true challenge. As always we invite all questions that begin with, “What if or Can I..…” The number of transactions in Eastern Europe and Asia are definitely on the uptick along with the Central and South America.
We look to continue our domestic flow business of aircraft in the $1.0M to $5.0M range, that’s our bread and butter. However, we also like to continue to broaden our customer base and will always attempt to engineer a finance structure that is a win for all involved.
EAF’s primary focus has been and will continue to be on the client. We move fast and efficiently. Let us know how we can help you in 2019.

Eagle Aviation Finance, Inc. (EAF) has had an aggressive posture with high growth the first three quarters of 2017. We anticipate that the fourth quarter will “blow the doors” of the stretch volume goals by year end. Our International sector continues to grow in application and funding numbers. Domestically, we have originated more FAA Part 135 operators (charter operators) loan applications this year than the last 2 years combined. We look at every situation; make a decision on the specific application; intentionally trying to say yes to each potential Borrower with the right loan structure. We continue our fast turnaround time on loan approvals and funding! Let us show you how we do it!

Eagle Aviation Finance, Inc.’s (EAF) 16th year in business continued its growth across the board in Client profile, client location and mission of aircraft. The number of loan and lease applications submitted, approved and funded steadily grew throughout the year with a fourth quarter, post presidential election surge. That surge has continued into 2017. Our average deal size grew as international transaction opportunities have doubled from 3 years ago. We are currently reviewing several opportunities in the Far East, i.e. China and India which will be a new funding location for us.
The financial engineering that EAF brings to the table is creative and unsurpassed in the general aviation finance industry. We are not a vanilla loan/lease operator. Our non or limited recourse loan products continue to lead the industry. The risk versus reward margins continue to be competitive however, they are still manageable. As 2017 progresses, we anticipate another strong year and look forward to lots of activity. We thank all of our new clients in 2016 and look forward to adding many more clients, big and small in deal size this year. As we review our 2015 business numbers, I.E. portfolio performance , funded volume, and profitability we are proud to say that our 15th year in businesss was robust and continued to see growth. The number of success stories far surpassed the few challenges. Deal flow quantity is consistent which is outstanding. Deal size with the continued devaluation of corporate aircraft remains an ongoing concern. Our international sector continues to grow in both number of applications and size of transactions with Western Europe and the Americas leading this growing market.
