What did you do today? Here’s a sample of what happed today in the shop. Disassembled a set of 1948 heads. Valve guides wiped out. Heads will be v***r blasted by Steven Schwoegler then they will need guides, seats, and valves. Got the springer back on the 1948 project after installing the missing bearing races. Lastly, installed a Jim’s main drive gear race in this 1937 case. Living the dream. Hope you are as well.

Sounds much better with the exhaust solidly bolted on. STD heads which have three bolts per pipe in the head. Four were stripped out which required helicoils. All good now. Solidly bolted down. Waiting on gas tanks from painter to wrap this baby up!
