We will have a celebration of life for Big D on Monday, September the 7th, starting at 5pm at The Cutting Board on 87 South. We have created an event page to gauge attendance. If anyone hasn’t received an invitation, and wants to attend, please comment or message and we’ll be sure you are invited. It’s open, but we’re trying to count attendees for food preparation.

We are heartbroken over the loss of our beloved patriarch, Danny Lee Hood, known by many as Big D. The Purple Tulip made this beautiful wreath, which we hung at the office - one of his favorite places to be. Hood’s will be closed for a bit while we mourn his loss and make arrangements to celebrate his life and legacy.

We would like to thank all our customers for their patronage and support through the years and during this difficult time.
