It’s been a while since we’ve posted. So let’s do some B & G fun facts.

We are a small locally owned business operated by a father and son team. Aside from the social media, they do all the work, scheduling, parts ordering, estimates, invoices and taxes.

We are fully licensed and insured.

Sometimes this is a huge deal for our customers and sometimes it isn’t. But what this means is that when we perform work and maintenance on your vehicle, it’s logged into CarFax. This is great for resell value!

We use professional diagnostic scan tools.
These tools allow us to perform an in-depth diagnostic on your vehicle to determine what the problem is.

We provide a warranty on our work too! When we purchase parts and install them, our warranty provides peace of mind!

B & G Automotive isn’t a backyard mobile mechanic. We own and operate a legal and legitimate business with a knowledgeable mechanic who had worked on vehicles most of his life. We take what we do very seriously because we want our customers happy and safe when they drive away!

📢Wednesday Business Shoutout📢

No better time than today to share this review (👂🏻 the inevitable Florida hurricane season is upon us).
🌳🪾🏡 So let’s talk about Eric's Tree Service!
Eric’s Tree Service came as a suggestion to us from a friend, neighbor and other small business owner!

Eric came out several months ago to trim a tree overhanging our house. Not only was it an insurance removal request, but the tree was truly a concern. Eric came out promptly to give us an estimate. While there he gave a few options and used his progressional tree trimming jargon to explain why he trims the limbs the way he does versus just chopping them off.
Eric returned when we were ready and got to work! He and his crew were very professional, safe and easy to work with. And although they trimmed limbs directly over our roof, there were no incidents or damage - they were cautious and caring of our property.
The crew trimmed the tree to perfection - appeasing our insurance company and giving us peace of mind. Then they left our backyard in better condition than when they started. They took some small limbs we had previously trimmed from a low hanging tree and were sure to take all the small bits from the tree they trimmed too!

Also, Eric was priced better than the other estimates we received, which is a win! Especially when you are seeking someone professional and great at what they do!

Eric’s crew is the best and we highly recommend them to everyone in the area! So get those trees trimmed before the pressure of hurricane season sets in! 🌀

It’s Wednesday again! You know what that means? It’s time to share our experience with local businesses that we love so you can love them too 🧡!

🍞🦷🍯 This week we’re talking about Magnolia Dreams Homestead! This cute little farm stand is just down the road from us and we love allllll the goodies Victoria makes and stocks! From various sourdough breads to a wonderful remineralizing tooth powder, she has it all! Stop by for some vanilla, sourdough starter kits (with starter), local honey, veggie seeds, focaccia bread, cinnamon rolls, soap, candles and so much more! I could literally go on and on! All homemade, all amazing! We love to run down and purchase items for gifts, collaborate on cute gift baskets made for a raffle and even stock our household goods and treats!

Go like her page and give her stand a try! It’s super cute, self serving and has an abundance of homemade and better for you goodies. PS, I didn’t say sugar free 😉.

I couldn’t close out without telling you all how kind and wonderful Victoria and her husband, Danny, are. They have saved us our sanity when it comes to plumbing! Danny does plumbing by trade and when we were at our wits end last year (and this year 😅), he came to our rescue multiple times to assist without hesitation (home ownership, eh?)! Victoria is kind and thoughtful and always has the best baking and gardening tips. We are very thankful to have them as our neighbors! It’s always a great feeling to support a small local business to later learn it’s owned and operated by people who deserve the world!

🔥🧊Today we have the pleasure of shouting out T & C Heating and Cooling LLC!

Chris has been a huge blessing and lifesaver for us! In August 2024 (yes, the HOTTEST time of year) our upstairs unit stopped cooling. We had a company come out and to diagnose the issue and were told we needed to replace the entire unit. Another company told us they wouldn’t even look at it because of the age of the unit. Chris reached out to me from a post I made on Facebook and we had him come do his own diagnosis. He was able to replace a couple parts for us, saving us several thousand dollars! He’s been to our house numerous times to assist with this unit, get it running perfectly and answer all our questions.

Aside from him saving us from sweltering summer heat, you can truly tell Chris is very knowledgeable about HVAC and truly cares about the people he does work for. I cannot say enough about his professionalism and genuine care he has for people! His kindness is something that will always stick with us!

Now, he calls us any time he needs mechanical work done and we call him when we need HVAC work done! A relationship we will always be truly thankful for! Earlier this year we purchased a work-ready truck from him (which he gave us an incredible deal on!) and it’s been perfect for the business! We use it every day.

And a parting pro tip: Chris has maintenance plans available! We have ours scheduled in April and I can assure you’re they important!

It’s always a good day when you get to shoutout another local small business!
Eric’s Tree Service came out today to trim a tree overhanging our house and they did a great job! Not only was Eric easy to work and schedule appointments with but the crew did a great job trimming the tree AND left our yard cleaner than when they started! Plus they hauled away all debris!

Tree pruning, tree removal, haul off, stump grinding, and risk assessments.
