**ATTENTION**
Bottom line upfront: unfortunately, Milton Off-Road Enterprise M.O.R.E is closing at the end if the year. We will finish current jobs on the books but will not pursue others. We are turning our shop into a personal offroad performance garage and renting to Kirk Dabney. He informed us he will take on projects on an appointment basis.
Something I came across awhile back that perhaps, sums it up best.
"The unfortunate truth of owning and running a business.
Running a business is really hard.
What they donβt tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid back people. People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore. People will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store.
Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work life balance. Itβs freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control."
WE struggled on all business levels. Shortcomings from myself as the owner, to management, to having competent skilled labors. The stresses are too much for me and my family right now as I am still active duty military, and being pulled in opposite directions.
Thank you to everyone who supported our small business and Thank you to those who helped with its operation. Hopefully in the future we can open MORE OFF-ROAD back to a full service business. God Bless.
