We are here for you folks, but you HAVE to be here for us as well. People call me and email for help and advice with their vans every day of the week (yes even the the weekend when I am technically closed). I love to help folks, so I do. People order tiny, small parts that they need to keep their van running. I pack up those tiny small parts orders, in the hopes that one day, they will need something substantial, and they will remember that we were there for them. Those tiny orders actually cost us time and money, just FYI. When someone calls me or emails me about a product price, and then proceeds to do that large purchase through Rock Auto, or some some other place because of price, it is very hurtful to me. How can I be here for you, if you aren't there for me. A mechanic would charge you $150 just to do a diagnostic. But you can't spend $50 more with me, knowing that I would help you with phone or email support? I have never claimed to be the cheapest, and I don't want to be. But I always try to be there for my customers and we have some that have been with us since day one almost 27 years ago. Thank you for being there. Rant over.

I wanted to drop you all a line to let you know what is going on with us here at Van-Again.

Spring has sprung and we started a new consultation business! If you need help with your difficult to diagnose and solve Vanagon issues we are here to help. ECUs and Air Flow Meters. At the moment we have 2.1l and 1.9l ECUs available as rebuilt units. These are rebuilt, and then bench tested, and then tested in a running Vanagon to ensure they perform as they should. Our ECUs come with a one year warranty and they are $250 plus a $200 core charge. I am pretty sure they are the best and also the most affordable ECU rebuilds for the Vanagon that is out there. If you need one, please find them here:
