With heavy hearts Appel's Tire Service is paying tribute to the life and legacy of Francis Appel. November 14th, Francis passed away peacefully at his home. We will forever remember his generous soul, quick wit, words of wisdom and our conversations. Francis owned Appel's Tire Service for 50 years, retiring in 1998. Although retired he could never stay away from the customers he loved. He made sure to visit the shop daily to check on things and visit with customers. Whether he knew you or not he always made you feel special. Francis will be missed by all of us. He will be honored for the compassionate life he lived.
The Funeral Mass for Francis will be held Tuesday, November 21, at 11:00 at St. Partrick’s Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Monday, November 20th from 4:00-7:00 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Our hours will be adjusted Monday and Tuesday. Monday we will be closing at noon and Tuesday the shop will be closed all day.
