It's the eve before the 94th carnival kicks off and we're putting the final touches on the show. Here's some things you'll want or need to know.
1. It's free parking, free admission, and free entertainment.
2. Entertainment begins at 7pm each night including John Bresslers show.
3. The All You Can Eat Breakfast is July4th at the Cheesesteak Stand. Cost is 12.00 for adults, 6.00 for kids 5-12 those little tykes under 5 eat for free.
4. There are 2 Fireworks shows, 1 July 4th at 10pm. The second is July8th at 11pm. The July 4th show is smaller and best seen near the carnival grounds. The July 8th show shoots from both the little league field and the hill East of the school.
5. The Independence Day Parade forms at 0900 July 4th at Dog Gone Good Fuel and moves at 1030 no pre-registration required, and the Pet and Toy parade is Weds July5th. Forms at 630 and moves at 7 from the area of the Boro Hall.
6. We never ever ever cancel Carnival. There may be cancelations of Entertainment etc and rides may not run due to weather and we will communicate those via our page. Even in the heaviest of downpours we will still have something to eat on the grounds.
7. There is no official open and close time, Food Stands typically are open around 5pm and things seem to slow down and close around 10 most nights, Fireworks night is the exception as its later. Also for July 4th food stands open during or right after the parade and there's usually a lull in the activity once the crowd slows down for a few hours. Rides and games usually spin up around 6ish.
8. Rest Rooms are located in 3 spots: under the stage, at the Main Street end of the midway and near the Bingo tent.
9. There's no carnival on Sunday but there's Vesper services and the Chris Shultz walk pool party event at the pool for you to partake in.
10. As much as we appreciate and thank you for your patronage, we appreciate all of our volunteers who staff all of the food and game stands, rides and all the other duties that make this event a success. Please be nice to them, they're all helping us stay in the business of helping our community during the worst of situations. We're looking forward to seeing all of you tomorrow night in Millville.
