Isuzu recently marked an important milestone for the Isuzu Veterans Apprenticeship Program (IVAP) with a formal signing ceremony at the Isuzu Center of Excellence in Pittston, Pennsylvania. The event brought together representatives from Isuzu, the U.S. Department of Labor, ERS Elite, and Isuzu’s nationwide dealer network.

IVAP creates a pathway from military service to a career as an Isuzu technician, combining:

Paid dealership employment
On-the-job learning
Isuzu technical training
Mentorship
Long-term career development

The nationwide program was officially launched by Isuzu in July and is designed to help transitioning service members and veterans put the technical ability, discipline, leadership, and experience developed during military service to work in the commercial transportation industry.
