Took a trip to Sikeston, Missouri this past weekend for the Outlaw Syndicate Small Tire Series at Skelton Raceway.

We left out early Thursday and got into town with enough time to grab some food at the famous Lambert's Cafe with the 187 Customs and Fireball Camaro crews.

Friday night was the 5.30 cash pot race. First round, I fell asleep on the tree with a .091 light and ended up losing to the eventual winner of the race.

Saturday was the 5.30 race for a shot at $5,000. After Friday’s performance, I knew I had to be better on the light, so I spent most of the day practicing on the tree.

The weather tried its best to throw a wrench into things with several rain showers rolling through, but the track crew did an awesome job getting everything dried out so we could race. We finally made our first test hit around 11:45 PM.

All that practice paid off. We headed to eliminations and got the first round win with a .018 light and worked our way through a tough 26 car field. I was .01x-.02x on the tree most of the night and managed to keep turning on win lights all the way to the finals.

Then, in true That Nick Stuff fashion, I absolutely s**t the bed in the finals. I went .088 to his .019 and gave away my shot at the $5K. We did agreeto an 80/20 split before the finals, so I didn’t leave completely empty handed.

Overall, it was another badass weekend of racing, hanging out with great people, and making memories. Looking forward to the next one.

This is shaping up to be a HUGE event. If you aren't here this weekend then what are you doing with your life??

If you are in the area, or not, come out and grab a lane. We plan to run the 5.3 class, possibly the 6.0 class, and will be looking for some grudge runs.

This El Reno Police Department officer was being a straight bitch to everyone this weekend at the Small Town Weekend event. She was moving people from behind the race starting line farther down the field in the same direction the cars were racing, which honestly seemed less safe, all while claiming it was for safety reasons.

At one point, she started yelling at people from across the street who hadn’t even said a word to her, throwing her hands in the air and shouting, “Do we have a fu***ng problem?”

Then, while we were trying to make a pass, she was screaming at everyone to get behind the line if they weren’t with the car, even though everyone in front of the line was with the car in question. She said she was yelling because nobody was listening. Maybe that’s because she’d been yelling at people all day.

Then she says “THIS IS MY TOWN", as if she owns the place. The reality is that everyone was there supporting the town and the event and those racing paid to be there. Meanwhile, this cop acted like she had a stick up her ass the entire weekend.

I have a feeling the police chief is going to get quite a few phone calls about her Monday morning. If you can’t do your job professionally, maybe it’s time to find another one.

Who all messes with Predator engines?

My kiddo picked up a drag mini bike from a good buddy of mine and has been working to earn money for parts. He finally bought himself a 212, so now we're officially headed down another That Nick Stuff rabbit hole.

And if you know me, "just throw a motor on it and ride it" isn't really how this is going to go. 😂

We're starting from scratch and already asking questions like:

How much power can actually be made with a stock bore/stroke 212?

Is the factory chamber design really efficient when the long-side turns of the intake and exhaust are facing each other, or would a more traditional heart-shaped chamber make better power?

At what point does compression become too much on an air-cooled engine?

Do we make a That Nick Stick cam for this thing or what?

Cruising the S10 around Texas Motor Speedway was definitely one of the highlights of the weekend. Just a cool experience all around.

LS Fest TX 2026 was a solid weekend for us.

We entered the Drag & Drive class because we were on a radial and knew the truck class was gonna be tough with the tire disadvantage, plus this truck can be driven anywhere.

During testing we fought trying to get it to make a clean pass that was fast, but every pass kept getting better and faster. We eventually got the tune-up where it needed to be and the truck was Rollin!

After getting through first round we ended up racing Dalton Stout in the quarter finals. We have been helping him with his car and had it working pretty good. I knew that was gonna be a tough race because he had been faster than us most of the weekend. I got him on the tree, but he out 60’d me and was pulling away when his throttle body messed up and closed on him. Hate that it happened like that because he honestly had the car to beat.

We still had semis and finals left after that and the truck kept doing its job. Ended up bringing home the win.

Aiden killed it in the Burnout Wars and its always a blast to watch him do his thing. We got a bunch of good footage that should be coming out soon on 187 Customs YouTube.

Overall it was a really good weekend with good people, good racing, and another win under our belt.
