Many of us remember exactly where we were 25 years ago today.
When Vinnie worked for Volvo, he flew Flight 93 about every six weeks. And just before 9:00 that morning Clare received a call from her father, who served in what is now Homeland Security. He told her they were aware of at least two more hijacked planes and to get the kids from school. Moments later flight 175 hit the South Tower.
We remember the fear. The uncertainty. The lives lost. The families forever changed. And the extraordinary courage of those who ran toward danger serving others.
We will never forget.
