🍂 Hello, September! 🍁

A new month is here, bringing cooler mornings, changing routines, and plenty of miles ahead.

Every Car Has One… The ‘Passenger Seat’ Personality!

There’s the navigator who announces every turn even though GPS is already doing it.

The DJ who changes the song after 12 seconds.

The snack person who somehow leaves crumbs everywhere.

And, of course, the passenger who hits the imaginary brake pedal.

****Throwback Thursday****

1950. Arthur Polzin purchases the former home of Raymond Willman, a driver with Enright-Topham. Located at 729 Franklin @ Emerson, the home needs to be moved due to the expansion of Bushey Radiator. Polzin's new neighbors are not happy when the big old house is moved onto his site at 3116 Ruckle. By Halloween, the family moves in.

30-Second Habit Worth Having:

Before hopping into your vehicle every once in a while, take a quick walk around it.

You might notice a tire looking a little low, something underneath the vehicle that wasn’t there yesterday, a damaged light or even something leaning against the car that you forgot about.

It doesn’t require tools or automotive knowledge—just a quick look.

Sometimes the simplest car-care habit is simply paying attention.

Measuring some stationary units for service at a water intake plant. Very cool because they gave us a quick tour of the facilities. It’s amazing this place moves millions of gallons of water a day supplying Bay City, Saginaw, Midland and the surrounding areas.

Your Dashboard Is Trying to Tell You Something ⚠️

Some dashboard lights are simply reminders. Others deserve a little more attention.

The important thing is knowing the difference—and not assuming a warning light will eventually decide to turn itself off.

If a new light appears, take note of its color, symbol and whether your vehicle is driving differently. Those little details can help determine what needs attention.

When in doubt, it’s always better to find out what your vehicle is trying to say.
