We CAN NOT stand a sticky windshield! There's nothing worse than picking your car up from a yearly inspection and seeing old inspection sticker residue on the glass. We also don't like the stickers to be too high and blocking your view. At Nick's High Performance Auto, every inspection means the old stickers comes off - and we mean completely off! No glue, no old sticker bits - just a clean surface with updated safety and emissions stickers lined up nicely in the bottom corner (so mom can see too!)

This Lincoln MKX came to us in need of a laundry list of items, but of note was a leaking axle seal. The first photo shows the original damaged seal and all the dirt that the leak had accumulated. This job was no match for Nick! Following our commitment to clean mating surfaces, he removed the bad seal, inserted a clean rag into the port, and proceeded to carefully clean away all the grime with a wire wheel. You can see the perfectly clean surface left behind, which then received a brand new seal. The final photo shows the wheel hub assembly all back together and ready to install rotor, caliper, pads, and wheel.

We are currently offering inspections for stickers expiring in 8, 9, and 10 of 2026. Nick's High Performance Auto is able to offer both PA Safety and Emissions inspections. Keep in mind that if you are emissions exempt (5,000 miles or less since previous inspection) you must wait a full 365 days from your previous inspection. You can find the date of your previous inspection on the back of your windshield stickers. Remember to bring an up to date copy of your vehicle insurance and registration. This Equinox came to us with a crank/no start issue. After diagnosis, we discovered the timing chain tensioner failed. This lead to significant timing chain slapping, which eventually broke one of the guides into several pieces. Fortunately for the customer, no valves were bent and the engine was able to be serviced. The Equinox received a new balance shaft chain and timing chain with tensioners and guides, water pump, cam actuators, and solenoids. As you can see in the final video, this ride is ready to get back on the road!
