Thank you all for attending our parks first 4th of july celebration. We had over 40 people in attendance and it was a blast! We had the green egg running for almost 3 hours, the jalapeño cheese sausages were definitely the favorite. Mr George and kelly cooked the boiled peanuts. The baked beans, pound cake, cookies etc was all so good! (WE SET UP 14 FANS ON THAT PORCH SO WE HAD A NICE BREEZE) we had so much fun doing this we're going to do it every 4th.( It took 2 golf carts fully loaded to haul all the fireworks, thank you Elijah for running that show)

Katlin and I saw some purple muscadines, under the leaves, on the vine in site 19. We decided to try a couple even though they were so early. When I reached to pick them a bird hit me in the head. Naturally, I screamed and jumped away. But, we went back to inspect and this is what we found. It looks like there are five mocking bird chicks in this nest. Mama bird dive bombed Katlin while she was getting this picture.🤣😂
We have a guest coming into 19 today. I guess I better warn him.😁

Getting ready for July 4th Wing Ding. We are celebrating 250 years of the United States of America. USA, USA, USA!!!!
