Today, we remember and celebrate the life of Dick Bishop on what would have been his birthday.

As the second generation to lead Bishop’s Auto Parts, Dick poured his heart into both his family and the business. One of his greatest joys was raising his sons in the family business and passing along the values of hard work, integrity, and dedication.

This week we’re shining the spotlight on one of the dedicated leaders who helps keep Bishop’s Auto Parts running smoothly every day—Michael, our Inventory Manager! 🚗♻️

Here’s a little more about Mike:

🔧 Favorite part of the job: Working with the team and solving problems together.

📦 What he does: Mike manages our Inventory Department, but if something needs to get done, you’ll find him jumping in wherever he’s needed. Whether it’s helping a teammate, solving a problem, or lending a hand, he’s always willing to do whatever it takes.

👨‍👩‍👧 Perfect day off: Spending quality time with his family.

🌅 Early bird or night owl? Neither—he’s ready whenever the job calls!

🌟 Proudest contribution: Coaching and mentoring team members to help them grow and succeed.

🚚 Traffic Report from Bishop’s Auto Parts… 🚦🦌

Looks like our delivery drivers ran into a little “rush hour” at the top of the hill today! 😄

These two were in no hurry, but we’ll gladly wait—after all, they’re part of what makes Connecticut so beautiful. ❤️

Don’t worry, though… once our furry friends clear the road, we’re back on our way delivering quality recycled auto parts to our amazing customers!
