📣 Traffic Advisory for Cruise Night Attendees & Spectators 📣

We have been made aware of construction activity on Broad Street in Middletown. While Broad Street will remain open, there are raised structures in the roadway that may cause delays or require extra caution.

To avoid Broad Street, we recommend taking Washington Street to deKoven Drive, or Washington Street to High Street and following posted event signage.

Broad Street will remain accessible for spectators entering City parking lots, including the KidCity and Russell Library lots, or showcars that are able to avoid raised structures.

🚗🎶 Cruise Night is TONIGHT! 🎶🚗

The wait is almost over! Join us tomorrow, Wednesday, September 2, for the 29th Annual Cruise Night on Main Street, presented by NAPA, from 4:30 - 8:00 p.m. in downtown Middletown. We're excited to see the forecast improving and are looking forward to a fantastic evening filled with incredible classic cars, live music, vendors, delicious food, awards, and family-friendly fun. Cruise Night will feature hundreds of pre-2001 vehicles, approximately 40 vendors, live entertainment by Nightshift and WESU, and 20 awards throughout the evening.

Join us on Main Street in Middletown this Wednesday, September 2, from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. for the 29th Annual Cruise Night on Main Street. Main Street will be filled with nearly 800 pre-2001 vehicles, approximately 40 vendors, live music by Nightshift, more than 20 awards, and family-friendly fun for all ages. This beloved community tradition would not be possible without the dedication of our committee members, City departments, volunteers, participants, and community supporters. For additional event information, please visit Cruise Night on Main Street.

Please note: We are closely monitoring the weather forecast and will make a determination regarding the event by 2pm tomorrow, Tuesday September 1. Should it be necessary to utilize the rain date, Cruise Night will take place on Wednesday, September 9, from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m. Any updates will be shared on our social media channels, through a press release, and on the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce website.

🏆 Award Information for Cruise Night Participants!

With approximately 20 sponsor awards being presented during the event, every registered vehicle has a chance to win! Awards are selected by our sponsors based on their own individual preference and criteria. Be sure to complete your registration card upon arrival and place it on your windshield so sponsors can review vehicles and select their winners.

🎉 Awards will be presented at 7:15 p.m. at the Showmobile in front of Bank of America.

🚨 Important Exit Reminder for All Cruise Night Participants

For the safety of our spectators, volunteers, and fellow participants, vehicles will not be permitted to leave the show area prior to 8:00 p.m. Early departures create significant safety hazards and disrupt the event experience for everyone in attendance.

Participants must remain in place until the official conclusion of the show. Exceptions will not be made. Once the event has ended, the Middletown Police Department will provide the all-clear for participants to begin exiting the event.

As you arrive at Cruise Night, please remember that vehicles will be parked facing toward the sidewalk/curb, not within the painted street parking spaces. This layout helps us fit more vehicles and creates a better experience for everyone attending.

Our team of volunteer parkers will be on site to direct you, so please follow their instructions upon arrival. Thank you for your cooperation, and stay tuned for more event updates, including awards, parking details, exiting procedures, and more! 🏁✨
