J's Black Walnuts, LLC We offer locally harvested, hand processed American Black Walnuts in 4-oz, 8-oz, and 16-oz packages. And that is why I started this business!

Remember those big green, baseball-sized nuts that fell every fall in your grandparents' yard? You know, the ones that stained your hands a rich, dark brown for days? How about when your Grandpa let you, as a 10-year-old, "drive" the car back and forth over his harvest of Black Walnuts to squish off the messy green and black husks? Or, better yet, the wonderful smell of the black walnut cookies yo

ur Grandma made for you after months of waiting for the nuts to be "ready?" Yup, I do, too. I collect black walnuts around my home in south-central Wisconsin, shuck, clean, and cure them, and then shell them by hand. At first, I only did enough to satisfy my own taste for black walnuts.
