Today, we are honoring the wonderful Deb Baker as she officially steps into her next great adventure: **Retirement!**
• The Coachmen Era (Started in 1983): Deb started on the production floor, mastering hands-on assembly tasks like hanging curtains, building drawers & doors, and handling detailed rework.
• The Shift to Quality: Her sharp eye for detail led her into Quality Assurance as an inspector. Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) quickly became one of her absolute favorite roles.
• Engineering & Compliance: Deb transitioned into Manufacturing Engineering, where she took on technical responsibilities like fixing prints, assembling print packs, and initiating Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
• Corporate Evolution: She navigated major industry shifts, including Forest River's acquisition of Coachmen.
• The ARBOC Chapter (From 2008): Deb moved to the facility's new chapter under ARBOC Mobility / All American Specialty Vehicles. Post-merger in 2011 to become ARBOC Specialty Vehicles, she became the anchor for Codes.
• The NFI Chapter (From 2018): Deb became the Environment Health and Safety Compliance Specialst.
Life Beyond the Workplace
As Deb closes this professional chapter, she transitions into a well-deserved retirement filled with her favorite passions.
• Green Thumb: Spending peaceful hours outside in her garden and nurturing her indoor plant collection.
• Avid Reader: Getting lost in books without the interruption of work schedules.
• Proud Nana: Cherishing quality time with her three beloved grandsons
