This week we installed our first set of Dakota Digital's new GRAFIX Gauges in this beautiful Chevelle. These state-of-the-art gauges come with a backup camera and turned out great. While it was here, we also addressed issues with the air conditioning, fuel tank, and Sniper, as well as others. How can we help you with your classic or muscle car? Regrettably, due to the threat of severe thunderstorms Friday night, we have made the decision to cancel the cruise this Friday at the FOP. Although it may seem premature, we opted to make this call to avoid any unnecessary expenses and logistical challenges for the FOP, considering the high probability of inclement weather. Jerry brought us his 1970 El Camino, which was originally a factory air car, but the AC system was always plagued with leaks and performance issues, so he wanted to replace it with a much more efficient Vintage Air system. While the dash was out to install the AC we upgraded his dash lights to LED. We also replaced some worn tie rod ends, a leaking brake booster, and the rear bumper. Just finished up this 1967 Chevelle. Removed the tired big block and cleaned and detailed the engine compartment. While the engine was out we installed a power brake booster, new master cylinder, and brake lines. We installed a Blueprint 454/460hp. To slow it down installed front disc brakes and also new front control arms and springs. And to give it that great look slapped on some American Torq-Thrust D wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra tires. We also installed new gears and bearings in the rear end to repair the “noisy” set that was in there. This car is now set to cruise for a long time.
