What a weekend, guys!!! Did we have issues? Yep! Did we mess up where we shouldn’t have? For sure! But I’m 100% certain that by next year, these problems will be solved! No track is perfect from day one. I’m so stoked to have been part of such a huge milestone for our national sports! It was a beautiful celebration!

I’ve been DORNA-certified since 2010 and I’ve actually clocked the most time in the press room over the last 15 years, so there’s no way I was missing out on this!

I’m incredibly proud and grateful for every moment this weekend. It was amazing to see so many people (Brazilian journalists and influencers) getting the chance to feel what I feel every time I step into the MotoGP paddock! It’s wild to see that Brazil brought in almost 200,000 people over 3 days just to watch bike racing.

I loved interviewing the riders and hearing them say they loved the Goiânia layout and that the track looked great. It was also great to hear from Carlos Ezpeleta that, despite the inconvenient, the event was a total success! Even my friends at DORNA told me that, despite what happened, “it’s okay”—it’s happened in other places before. And honestly, it was just so good to catch up with so many friends and celebrate this moment!

The thing is, the pressure shouldn’t come from the outside... it has to come from us. We can’t just accept these kinds of mistakes and give the international press “ammo” to criticize us. What puts my mind at ease is knowing the Goiás Government is committed to fixing every single issue we had. Still, it was beautiful!

Mission accomplished! My life has always been about the grind—hard work, challenges, and accomplishments. As a true Brazilian, athlete, manager, and entrepreneur, there was no way I was backing down from this one. It all started with a big friend’s dream, and we took on the mission of building a team and a bike from scratch to race in the 2026 Daytona 200!

There was 25 days of pure madness. We fought with everything we had, and after a lot of trial and error—plus some serious skill from our rider and crew—we managed to qualify, start, and finish all 57 laps in one of the most legendary races in the world, competing against official factory teams.

We finished 29th out of 57 riders. What makes us stoked is knowing that with a little more time, we could’ve cracked the top 20, and with a bit more investment, the top 15.

Huge thanks to everyone who cheered for us and followed the journey!

*We are thrilled to announce that MotoHub Miami will be competing with its own team in the most prestigious and historic race in the United States: the Daytona 200* This iconic event kicks off the 2026 season of the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship.
The Daytona 200 has a legendary legacy, having hosted icons such as Giacomo Agostini, Kenny Roberts, Kevin Schwantz, Wayne Rainey, and Nicky Hayden. Today, the tradition continues with world-class riders like Peter Hickman, Michael Dunlop, and Josh Herrin, alongside the stars of MotoAmerica.

*Our Rider: Leandro Mello ( #909)* 🇧🇷
Representing MotoHub Miami on the high banks of Daytona is Brazilian standout Leandro Mello.
Leandro is a professional motorcycle rider and renowned MotoGP journalist/commentator. His journey began in Motocross at age 3, transitioning to Superbikes at 16. His impressive resume includes:
• Champion Titles: 2002 Brazilian Superbike Champion and multiple winner of the 500 Miles of Interlagos (setting a race record during his 2016 overall victory).
• Endurance Specialist: A three-time Brazilian Endurance Champion (FIM) for 2024, 2025, and 2026 in both the Superbike and Overall categories.
• Industry Expert: 25 years as a test rider/editor for Duas Rodas and Auto Esporte.
• Unique Experience: As an official MotoGP journalist for 12 years, he has ridden on-track with legends like Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, and Jonathan Rea with official Dorna consent.
• Brand Ambassador: Representing global leaders such as Michelin, Mobil, Kawasaki, GIVI, Alpinestars, and LS2.
• Record Holder: Holds the official speed record on the Kawasaki Ninja H2R, certified by the Mauá Institute and Kawasaki Japan.
