Master L**e Tech here. So I resealed this oil pan ONE time and now it’s “leaking again” and suddenly I’m supposed to just jump back under there for FREE like this is some kind of charity program for ungrateful customers. Absolutely not. If you want it resealed again, you’re paying me again. That’s how labor works. The shop foreman waddles over talking about “comebacks” and “quality control” like I didn’t professionally apply half a tube of RTV with surgical precision. Do you see that bead? That’s craftsmanship. That’s artistry. That’s aerospace-level sealing technology. If it’s leaking, maybe the CUSTOMER sabotaged it. Ever think of that? People will do anything to get free labor. How do I know they didn’t crawl under there with a screwdriver and poke it just to say it’s leaking? How do I know they didn’t overfill it? Or drive it 120 mph sideways through a ditch? But somehow it’s my fault because I’m the only one around here actually moving cars and flagging hours while these “master techs” sit around diagnosing air in tires for three hours. And now the foreman wants me to reseal it on my time? For free? Buddy, you’re about to have a rude awakening when the best l**e tech in this building clocks out for the last time. I can outrun any of these sorry master techs. They don’t have the hustle. They don’t have the drive. They definitely don’t have the RTV bead control. Pay me again or find someone else to lay down perfection. Simple.
