It’s going to be a HOT one, so we’re making a slight adjustment to give everyone a little relief from the heat!

☀️ We are pushing Hot Laps back to 7:30 PM tonight.

𝗪𝗲'𝗹𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗢𝗻𝗲!

Unfortunately, the 85 team will be taking this week off while we wait on a few new parts to arrive.

Sometimes racing throws you a curveball, but we're using this time to get everything fixed the right way so we can come back stronger.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽!

Car was once again a fast hot rod!

Just need to continue to just tweak somethings and capitalize when it matters.

After finishing 3rd in the heat, Tyler started 5th in the feature and drove up to 2nd before our rearend decided to explode, ending our night early. Still finishing 7th(DNF).

Unfortunately, Tyler will be out this week while we wait on the new rearend to arrive this week.

We'll get it fixed and be back out on August 7th!

First off, what an incredible atmosphere!

90 cars packed into the pit area and FULL grandstands. It’s been along time since it’s seen that many fans. Callaway Raceway delivered another fantastic racing surface, and it was awesome to see so many fans supporting their local dirt track.

𝗛𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲: Tyler was out front and looking strong before bobbling on the cushion, allowing Tucker to slip by. We brought home a solid 2nd-place finish and knew we had a hot rod for the feature.

𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲: The car was on rails. Tyler worked his way up to 2nd place and was reeling in the leader when he clipped the infield tire. The contact bent something in the front end, but he never gave up, went to back and hung on and battled his way to a 7th-place finish.

If there's one thing we've learned this season, it's that Tyler is hopefully getting closer to getting that monkey off his back. The speed is there.

Here’s a feature clip!

Car was absolutely rolling before our driver got the car alittle too high on cushion and spun out. This car is fast and we’re getting close.

We’ll make some adjustments and be back again! 🏁

Heat Race: 2️⃣ ➡️ 1️⃣
Feature: 2️⃣ ➡️ 4️⃣

Running 2nd in the feature when the driver got alittle to high on the cushion and hit some bumps, causing him to spin out. After going to the back of the tail, he battled all the way back to finish 4th. 👏🏽

This car is a wicked fast hot rod and just needs a little fine tuning. The speed is there, and we’re excited for what’s ahead this season.
