Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver and Owner/Operators to join our team! The ideal candidates will have experience in various types of truck driving, including flatbed, commercial driving, and delivery driving. Our drivers are located within an hour, to an hour and a half, radius from the office, and can be in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky.
Responsibilities
- Supervise loading/unloading of no touch freight
- Drive vehicles to transport goods to their destination in a timely manner
-Communicate with dispatcher and/or shipper/receiver regarding drive time
- Perform routine checks on vehicles to ensure proper maintenance and report any issues
-Use various tracking apps and devices to help monitor your routes
Skills
- Proficient in operating flatbeds and included equipment such as tarps, straps, chains, edge protectors, etc.
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to secure cargo safely
- Strong communication skills and customer service-oriented attitude
-Technology savvy to use tracking apps and equipment.
