Hydraulics? Not quite. That kind of bouncing can point to a suspension problem that needs attention. ⚠️

Worn struts can affect how your vehicle handles and how well the tires stay in contact with the road.

If your car keeps bouncing after a bump, stop by your local Firestone Complete Auto Care and let our crew take a look.

If your brakes are making noise, don’t turn up the music. 🛑 Squealing is usually your first warning. Grinding means you may have waited too long.

Andrew translates how brake pads help stop your car — and what those sounds can mean — in our latest Shop Talk Translator.

Comment “BRAKES” and we’ll send you our brake guide before you head to the store.

A few hundred miles past your oil change usually isn’t a disaster — but the longer you wait, the greater the risk. 🛢️

As oil breaks down, it loses its ability to protect your engine. That can lead to sludge, extra strain and, eventually, engine damage.

Be sure to stick to your manufacturer's recommended oil change schedule. Comment OIL and we’ll send you our Oil Cheat Sheet.

A century ago, Firestone helped advance brake service with technology that gave technicians a more precise picture of a vehicle’s stopping power. That early commitment to careful, dependable service still guides us today.

Here’s to 100 years of helping drivers stop with confidence. 🔧

Some DIY ideas should stay on the drawing board. 👀

Crew members Kody and Preece react to a car equipped with a makeshift 2x4 “roll cage” and a few other choices that leave them with plenty of questions.

When it comes to protecting the people inside your vehicle, homemade is no substitute for properly engineered safety equipment. 🔧

Some cars carry more than miles — they carry memories.

When Arianna bought her Hyundai Sonata, she showed her grandfather, a drag racer who loved all things automotive. It turned out to be their last time together. Now, with 100,000 miles on it, the car means more than ever.

At our Nashville store, we found that her rear brake pads and rotors needed replacing. In honor of our 100th anniversary, we covered the parts and service to help keep her moving forward.

Our tech Lelan matched NFL teams with car brands. 🏈🚗

Some are based on reliability, some on reputation. And others… well, you’ll have to hear his reasoning.

Grinding brakes rarely fix themselves. 🛑

The longer you wait, the more damage they can cause — and what could've been a simpler repair may turn into a more expensive one. If your brakes are making noise, don't ignore it.

Comment BRAKES and we'll send you our Brake Noise Decoder to help identify what you're hearing. 👂
