When it comes to wheels, fitment isn't everything. It's the only thing.
This is doubly true on a dually. The right backspace, the right offset, the right poke on the rears; get one wrong and you've got a wheel that looks good in the box and wrong on the truck. Get all of them right and the truck sits like this one on Hot Rods by Boyd wheels and Stone Custom Fab control arms.

Last weekend the Jimmy was sitting in the grass under those cliffs for the Red Rock Retreat.

It was two days of nothing, but red rock and good company. Friends we've known for years, builds we hadn't yet seen in person, and a park that turned into the best show in the country for a weekend.

We're already counting down to next year.

Period-correct is great until you actually have to drive it. This '57 Chevy Bel Air owner wanted the classic lines without the classic ride, so Shift Speed Shop added a Ridetech suspension and a set of American Racing G-Force 18-inch wheels with modern treads. Looks like 1957, but drives like 2026.

Trailer's loaded. The Jimmy is strapped down and we're heading north for the C10 Red Rock Retreat this weekend.
