Found a deal on a used scanner a few weeks ago and couldn’t pass it up. Been practicing/ playing here and there since I got it but took an opportunity this morning to try start to figure out a work flow. Also, shoutout to for continuing to expand the capabilities of the software. I was able to do all post processing in and match what I got with calipers witthing +\- .003 which is about the accuracy rating of tha scanner. Pretty impressive!

Closed out the year testing some surface finishes on a drop, so we can start next year strong with the real thing. Needs a little refinement, but pretty happy with this first test piece. Lots more aluminum goodies coming in the year to come. Also, peep those home-brewed grip jaws 😂

It’s crazy how much time goes into even a simple extension harness. Some components were rearranged and with time and money taken into consideration it was decided to make the old harness work, which we were able to do with a single 18” cannon to cannon extension. 41 contacts in each cannon, a total of 62 wires to fill out the , , and boots on each end, bench tested and ready to go. Thank you to for always having the goodies on hand!

Ever have a slave cylinder that just doesn’t want to bleed, no matter how many times you try? We’ve found that some aftermarket slave cylinders have the bleeder port not quite in the right spot, making it nearly impossible to fully bleed the system.

This tool allows you to maneuver the slave cylinder to have the bleeder port at any angle, while making sure you don’t blow the guts out of it. Lightweight and compact, this tool allows plenty of maneuverability in tight spaces.

Simply remove the push rod (gently!), and place the tool on the slave cylinder. You’ll feel light spring tension the last 10mm or so - this way you KNOW you’re not going to blow the piston out. Gently compress the slave, install the two nuts(finger tight is fine), and proceed with bleeding. When you’re done, simply reinstall the push rod, and reinstall the slave cylinder on the vehicle.
