This month, we're proud to celebrate 36 years of serving Mesa and the East Valley!
Mesa Auto Works was founded in June 1990 by our father, Stan Davis Jr., who had been in the automotive industry since he was just 13 years old. Cars weren't just his profession—they were his passion and his way of helping people.
After moving from New York to Arizona in the late 1970s, Stan worked at a local dealership while building his dream of opening an honest repair shop where customers would be treated like family.
In June of 1990, that dream became a reality.
Like many small businesses, the early years weren't easy. There were long days, challenges, and plenty of uncertainty. But one thing never changed—our commitment to honesty, integrity, and taking care of people.
As our customer family grew, we outgrew one location, then another. We hired our first employee, expanded our team, and continued building the reputation that Mesa Auto Works is known for today.
Over the years, we've grown from a one-man repair shop into a trusted local business serving generations of families throughout the Valley. While both Stan and Janice have since passed away, their values, work ethic, and love for this community remain at the heart of everything we do.
Their legacy lives on through the business they built, the customers they cared for, and the family they inspired to continue their mission.
