What’s under your bench? Mine’s usually just a mess of sandpaper storage, cauls, and string recycling, but lately in the afternoons I’ve been joined by this little lady.
About a month and a half ago, Joe was riding his bike and discovered this tiny baby all alone loafing in the road near Country Club and Main Street (a busy major intersection near us). He scooped her up, hoped back on his bike, and brought her home to me. 🥰
We’ve named her Rita (“lovely Rita, meter maid!”) after the Beatles song. She’s a pint sized agent of chaos, possibly possessed by a hellfire demon, but very sweet and snuggly and a lovely addition to our herd of adopted street cats.
She’s already taken up the family tradition of sneaking into open guitar cases and pretending to be case candy when I’m not looking.
I haven’t been posting or spending much time here on social media lately as I’ve been preoccupied with a backlog of repairs & too much cuteness. If anyone’s been wondering where I’ve been, I’m on a kitten sabbatical lol. Got some cool stuff I’ve been working on though so I’ll get around to posting regularly again soon.
