There are times when you just need an extra set of hands to get that job done. Always willing to help each other out, that’s what Higgy’s team does so well.

Completed this 2UZ swap a little bit ago. Installing that engine took coordination, teamwork, finesse, patience and lots of communication. The whole shop was involved in getting it lowered into place. These are the moments when you realize what a great team you really have. Shout out to the Higgy’s crew for getting it done.

There’s something very satisfying about seeing all these components as individual pieces. Each having their own use. Each having their own beauty. And then seeing those pieces skillfully pieced together like the puzzle it is until all the parts are assembled and working. It’s skill, it’s vision, it’s beautiful machinery doing exactly what it was intended to do. Built by someone who is patient, skilled, knowledgeable and creative. As is the case in most things we all do during any given day, there is always so much more than just the task at hand. So much more. Keep pursuing the things you enjoy doing, we promise to do the same.

The little details are what makes this FJ fun to look at. Who doesn’t love some chrome? This one has it readily visible and also in some tiny unexpected places.

A big part of what we do around here is diagnosing your concerns, such as fluid leaks, listening to noises, and watching parts as they move. We like to get focused in on what’s going on before getting started.

Views gathered from walking around the shop. We take on such a variety of jobs here, from regular maintenance such as oil changes & belt replacements to custom fabrication. These jobs require many tools, many parts and lots of creative thinking. On any given day, these are some pretty standard sights inside our shop. Love work that is similar from day to day and yet totally new with each unique vehicle that comes our way.
