So, I recently had a gentleman call me about giving him a second opinion on a transmission that was recommended. (2012 Chevrolet Traverse). I found the transmission in limp mode, shifting rough, and all the traction lights on. Well, after doing some research and inspecting wiring, I found that if you held the tcm connector partially locked closed, but not all the way, the lights went away and it shifted normally. So, something was shorted inside that TCM connector. Now, you would think, it would be easy enough to call Chevrolet and get a pigtail. NOT SO MUCH. They only service this connector as a complete engine harness. HOWEVER, I found that GM Canada did in fact list it, just without wires. So, I bought one, and sourced the correct terminal's, and built my own pigtail harness. No more engine lights, no more shifting issues, and no, it didn't need a transmission. :)
