The countdown is on for the 38th Annual Wood Tic at Merritt Speedway!

Thursday, July 23rd is Test & Tune. It's a great opportunity to get your car ready for the weekend. Grandstand admission is free, and pit passes are just $20.

Racing begins Friday, July 24th with qualifying, heat races, and dashes. Then on Saturday, we'll wrap up the weekend with Kids Day, Autograph Night, feature events, and fireworks to close out the 38th Annual Wood Tic.

With the short notice on the payout structure we posted this week, we are not sure if we are going to get more cars than we initially expected. If we are able to get a class with 32 or more cars, we will run a last-chance race and a B race so drivers will have the opportunity to make more money.

ATTENTION MINI WEDGE DRIVERS AND PARENTS:

This is the biggest Mini Wedge event of the year! Come out and support this special event. Mini Wedges will be racing for non-points.

** Get ready for the Dave Bowen Trucking Annual Mini Wedge Wood Tic Special at Merritt Speedway!

Join us July 24th & 25th for the 38th Annual Ed VanDuinen Wood Tic! All Mini Wedge drivers will receive prize money, and trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers!

Anyone wishing to participate must not have competed in any other racing classes prior to this event **

The countdown is on for the 38th Annual Wood Tic at Merritt Speedway.

Thursday, July 23rd will now be a Test & Tune. It's the perfect chance to get your car dialed in before the weekend. Grandstand admission is FREE, and pit passes are just $20.

Friday, July 24th, kicks off the racing with heat races, qualifying, and dashes.

Then on Saturday, enjoy Kids Day, Autograph Night, features, and we'll wrap up the 38th Annual Wood Tic with fireworks to close out the weekend.

Attention racers and fans!

We're excited about the response we've received for Kids Day so far, but we're still looking for a few people to help make it a great experience. We're looking for last year's face painter, or anyone interested in face painting or helping with the Kids Day activities.

We're also looking for volunteers to help with the Kids Day event. If you're able to lend a hand, we'd greatly appreciate it.

Drivers and fans, if you're able to donate bikes or toys for the kids, it would also be greatly appreciated. If you'd like to help in any way, please send us a private message.
