Ed Chaney Tire Pros encourages everyone to attend the Memorial Day Ceremony today at 10:30 AM. 🇺🇸 (https://www.emsvf.org) Weather update: Due to weather conditions, today’s Memorial Day Ceremony will take place on the third floor of Meridian City Hall. Doors open at 9:30AM and ceremony will begin at 10:30AM. Please join us as we honor and remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our nation’s freedom.

The program will feature the reading of the fallen, guest speaker LTCOL Chaplain Jason Byrd, wreath laying, the Twenty-One Gun Salute, Taps, and the NAS Meridian Color Guard — all in remembrance of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

As the program reminds us:
“Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it… it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it.”
