What a weekend at the 27th Annual Idaho 200 with the CARS Tour Northwest!
We rolled into the weekend with the #40 KHI Medical Chevy, and if we had to sum it up in one word, it would be adversity.
We threw everything we had at the car over all three days but just couldn't find the speed we were looking for. Going into Saturday, we knew we'd have to rely on a few last-minute adjustments, some race craft, and a little luck to make the show. Fortunately, the cards fell our way, and we raced our way into the field.
The race itself was action-packed from start to finish, and every driver brought their best. We started 24th and, through some hard-fought side-by-side racing, smart decisions, and a little attrition, drove our way up to a 12th-place finish.
For our little team, this was a huge weekend. I'm incredibly proud of everyone who kept digging, never gave up, and made the most of what we had.
Thank you to KHI Medical, our crew, our supporters, and everyone who continues to believe in us. On to the next one! 🏁
