Not everyone who helps keep things moving is out in the shop or at the front counter! Meet Brett, our new Estimator working behind the scenes for both Meridian Automotive and Gem State Diesel.

Brett brings an impressive 27 years of experience in the automotive repair industry to our team. Before moving into estimating, he spent those 27 years turning wrenches as a Technician, including 15 years as a Toyota Master Technician. That hands-on experience gives Brett a valuable perspective when putting together estimates and supporting our team.

When we asked what he’s enjoying most about working here so far, his answer was simple: “The people are a great team!”

And when we asked about his dream vehicle, we found out he’s already got it! Brett is a self-proclaimed Toyota guy, and his Toyota 4Runner is exactly what he wants.

We’re excited to have Brett putting his decades of experience to work behind the scenes and helping both of our teams take great care of our customers!

Every repair starts with the right diagnosis.

This truck came in with a Cylinder 6 misfire. After testing the ignition, fuel system, and wiring, our technician, Ricky, traced the problem to a collapsed lifter that was preventing the intake valve from opening.

Instead of guessing or replacing parts, we followed the evidence to find the true root cause. The customer chose a complete lifter replacement for long-term reliability, and the cylinder head is now in our in house machine shop for a full inspection and valve job before everything goes back together.

Quality repairs come from patience, experience, and doing the job right the first time. Stay tuned as we get this truck back on the road! 🚗🔧
