Minegar is a name everyone who has spent time at Meridian Speedway should know! Mike and Pat Minegar both raced extensively at Meridian Speedway starting in the mid 70’s.

By the early 80’s, Pat was still racing, and Mike became the voice of the Speedway - serving as the announcer here for many, many years.

Both men are also very successful businessmen in their off track time, Mike with Minegar’s Auto Body - Pat owned A-1 Heating and Air. Sadly Pat passed in 2025 - but you can still see his smiling face on the giant Hall of Fame Poster in the Pits.

Mike’s son David was also a successful racer around the country who grew up and got his start here at Meridian.

Thank you Minegar family for being such a huge influence on Meridian Speedway 🏁
