Short of the civil war, in the history of the United States we have never been faced with such a division of ideals and conflict between our own people. Today is the one day of the year, if no other day, that our nation should be able to come together for the same purpose. Pro trump, anti trump...pro life, pro choice.....for gun control or against..... It doesn’t matter today. We all need to take a few minutes and think about the cost of building this amazing nation. A nation that allows us to voice our opinions, follow our dreams, make our own choices, and most importantly, live the life we choose to live. We live in the land of the free because we lost so many of the brave. Those brave men and women were willing to pay the ultimate price because they knew what our flag stood for and how important the true American ideals were/are to protect. So today, instead of getting angry at the person with the MAGA hat, or laughing at the guy with the Bernie shirt, just stand together and pay homage to the people that died for your right to voice that difference of opinion, the people who gave everything so we could wake up every morning in the most incredible nation in the world.
