The Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series will kick off the 2020 season tonight at New Egypt Speedway for their first and only appearance of 2020. Pit gates open at 4PM, grandstands will be welcoming fans at 5pm, hot laps kick off at 6PM and racing will start promptly at 7PM!
Drivers and teams who have not signed up for IMCA membership or the yearly Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series Membership are encouraged to do so before coming to the track, and can do so by going to our website - www.masprintseries.com - and going to the "Competition Info" tab.
Contingency Awards that are 💥BACK💥 for 2020 include $50 cash to each heat race winner presented by Bruce’s Auto Body John W. Kay Electric, EnviroSafe Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning, Water Treatment and Professional Design Services, a $50 gift certificate to Keizer Sprint Wheels for the worst pill draw of the night, the $50 Bitner Automotive 'Lightning Fast Time of the Night' bonus, the Fred's Trailers $100 Hard Charger Award, the “Burning Rubber Bonus” which is a BRAND NEW Hoosier Racing Tire Racesaver Spec Right Rear courtesy of Thayer Performance, the CRC Industries Brakleen feature redraw and the Professional Design Services Worst Pill Draw $100 cash prize concludes the list of extras up for grabs tonight.
Kelly Racing Fuels - the official fuel sponsor of the Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series - will be sponsoring the 'Hard Charger of the month' again in 2020, giving 25 gallons of fuel to the drivers who advance the most positions in a feature event for the months of July, August and September!
For 2020, Bob Hilbert Sportsweart will be sponsoring one team with a FREE custom sportswear package of 150 racing t-shirts, which will be raffled off at the series end of the year banquet. In order to get tickets for that raffle, teams will be able to earn them a number of ways, which includes earning their position of the front row of each feature event this season, attending three races in a row, and finishing in certain positions on named team race nights.
Bob Hilbert Sportswear will also be presenting the 2020 Mid-Atlantic Sprint Series Champion a $200 gift certificate to use towards their order of 150 t-shirts, as well as door prizes and giveaways at the banquet and many events on the 15 race schedule.
Joining us tonight will be a pretty stout field of drivers, including last years New Egypt Speedway opening day winner - Bryant Davis, the 2019 JLD Graphics Rookie of the Year and 2019 MASS Champion Ricky DiEva, long time competitors Mr. Twister Mark Bitner, TNT Tim Tanner Jr., and TomCat Tom Carberry! The MASS managment team of Eddie Wagner and Jeff Geiges will be on hand tonight looking to make it into victory lane as well as other fan favorites - Larry Mc Vay, Marie McVay, Charlie Stone, Kevin Nagy, Joe Kay, Jason Dunn, Dave Brown, Rick Stief and Jon Brennfleck will all be making waves at the Central NJ D-Shaped oval!
Also to be mentioned is the large JLD Graphics Rookie Class of 2020 that will be finally hitting the track with rookies Jenna Shotz, Kristina Pratt, Zach Berghof, Zak Vickers, Dale Eggert, and Mike Melair all ready to get their feet wet at New Egypt Speedway tonight!
