Good news for all of our general repair customers. Gierach's Service will be keeping the 3 bays on the east side of the building for general auto repair. Not only were we able to hire a technician about 8 weeks ago, but we will have a l**e tech starting on this coming Monday. We will be able to take in more daily vehicles again. Still no European though. For customers driving VW, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc..., we recommend either Northshore Auto on Port Washington rd or RawSpeed on Donges Bay Rd.

We get to work on some pretty cool vehicles at our shop, and this one is up there towards the top. Feast your eyes on this 1944 American LaFrance which looks absolutely stunning in white. Truck was gone over front to back to make sure everything is safe and sound for summer fun and parades.

Once again things have been crazy around the shop the past few months. But a lot of exciting stuff going on. The beautiful survivor 55 Crown was delivered back to its owner. Running, driving, and able to be enjoyed for years to come yet. The 64 Malibu was delivered back with our end of the work completed. Car is mechanically set and ready for the owner to finish his own interior work. Studebaker pick up was delivered and ready for spring time shows and events. 67 Buick GS got a fresh trans rebuild and corrected some wiring issues. AND we have finally found a tech to add to our family. The newest member of the family will be starting the middle of April. So we will still be continuing to do general vehicle repair on one side of the shop.

It's hard to keep up with posts during winter, as the towing side of our business goes crazy. But today the 47 Caddy was washed and ready for delivery on Thursday. The 64 Chevelle is coming along nice. Wired up. Suspension in. Getting ready to prime the oil pump, set timing and fire it up. And today we brought in another piece of automotive art. 1955 Crown Vic! This one was running not long ago. Another shop looked at it and couldn't get it going again. Distributor is frozen in the engine. We'll work our magic and get this beauty back on the road!

This week we were able to deliver this beautiful 67 Ford Fairlane back to its owner. This is an original car. Original paint. Original interior. 60k miles. Everything was gone through, top to bottom. We added a little flair to it with GT style wheels and dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers to give it a little rumble. This car drives like a dream. Even more impressive is the homemade trunk light, which the owner added, still works! Even better than getting to work on these pieces of automotive art is seeing the happiness on the owners face when we bring these cars back to life.

It was spa day for this beauty. 1 owner 1967 Ford Fairlane with only 60k miles on it! It's been in storage for 19 years. Next step is to give her a once over from front to back and see what all needs to be done to get it back on the road so the owners can enjoy it again.

As mentioned earlier, Gierach's Service Inc will be part of the Ozaukee National Night Out, this Tuesday August 2nd from 5-9pm at Thiensville park.

**Bring the kids by for a chance to win a remote control tow truck! Kids 12 and under will have a chance to draw from a deck of 52 cards that has 3 jokers in it. Each joker has a prize indicated which could be 1 of 2 remote control trucks or a smaller die cast tow truck. All other cards win a small toy tow truck.**

I might be able to get a few things together for the adults as well. Shirts, Koozies, etc...

While Gierach's Service was excited to be able to debut some of its new fleet at the Ozaukee County National Night Out this coming Tuesday, production delays have made that not possible. We will still be there. And some may see just an old tow truck. But we are proud to put one of our older working trucks on display. It might not be the prettiest truck. It may have dings. It may have rust. But every flaw is a reminder of the hard work it has done and the countless number of people it has helped. We look forward to seeing everyone! And please look out for our post later today, for information on some giveaways we will have at our booth. Stop by and see us!

For our all customers, we are remaining open for business as auto repair and towing/recovery has been deemed an essential service. We are taking every precaution possible to keep our customers and employees safe. For those worried about any outside contact, we do offer a drop box on the east side of our building and can accommodate you with payments over the phone. We are here if you need us.
