Here’s something a little different.

I’ve been using AI to help visualize a few ideas, including this back-burner guitar project I’ve been developing. I wanted to see how accurately it could translate my scale drawing into a finished rendering.

The results are pretty decent. AI still seems to struggle with complex shapes, proportions, and geometry, but it’s becoming a useful tool for bringing an idea to life before committing to a physical build.

What do you think of the design? I think it has serious potential, and I’d love to see it become a small production run someday.

AI will never replace my creativity, my ideas, or the act of actually building something.

The sketch on top is a true back-of-the-napkin concept I drew years ago for a board-track-style build. It’s been taped to my toolbox ever since.

The image on the bottom breathed fresh life into that old idea—and it’s exactly what I had envisioned in my head. That’s where I think AI gets interesting: not as the designer, but as another tool to help communicate an idea that already exists.

I want to build it for real.

I’d love to take this from sketch to metal for the right client. If this is something you’d want in your garage, shoot me a DM.
