It took a little while to sink in, even though it still doesn’t feel real. We lost part of the TO family yesterday. Jake Lewis passed away due to cancer complications.
Jake has been around since the early days and it’s really not going to be the same not seeing his goofy self pop up at meets or events. He was always down to lend a hand it didn’t matter what was needed. When he wasn’t driving he was always down to help coach new drivers, sling cones, and help fix anyone’s car he could if they broke on track so they could keep shredding, all around great guy who’d go out of his way to help you out.
We were just talking a couple weeks ago about memories from MIR and old bubble tea meets. Talking about plans and goals for the future, it’s just crazy that you could be gone so fast.
We’re all really going to miss you brother, keep roasting tires up in the clouds until we get there.
