A top notch R & D program, along with stringent product quality is the key to achieving this goal year after year. Kelly Davis, the founder of Performance Distributors (Steve’s father), designed the industry’s first H.E.I. Kelly, who had a background in drag racing

and hot rodding, mastered the science (and art) of setting advance curves. This unique science was passed on to Steve, and the company is now the most respected in the world for their advance curve technology. The D.U.I.-Davis Unified Ignition is the flagship product, and is ran on vehicles worldwide. Because we design our ignition systems as if we were running them in our own vehicles, quality, performance and reliability are the end result. Pat Davis, Vice President of Performance Distributors (Steve’s Mom), oversees personnel, assists with strategic decisions, names new products, works trade shows, etc. In the early days of the company, she oversaw shipping and invoicing. Pat and Steve insist on quality products, hard work and treating customers fairly. Every distributor is hand-built, calibrated on a distributor machine, and test fired before being shipped. This process leads to customer satisfaction while making us proud to place our family name on our products! Providing you with more power, torque, and efficiency is what we do – NOT just to ignite a spark. Thorough testing not only leads to a quality and durable product, but it also results in a product you can enjoy running in your car, truck, hot rod, boat or race car. Some exciting new products are now available! That’s because new product development is a continuous process at Performance Distributors. Distributors for the 331-354-392 HEMI engines have been a big hit. So have the super tough Hot Forged Distributors for late model Ford’s. We’re also building a D.U.I. Announcing our Hot Rod Hero Contest of the Month!

The winner will receive a $25.00 Gift Certificate towards the purchase of any of our products! We will judge based on appearance, ingenuity, style, etc. Hot Rod cars, trucks, race cars,
and boats are eligible.

These are the requirements:

1) Post a photo of your vehicle here on Facebook AND

2) Email them to [email protected]

3) Your entry allows us to use your photos in our promotions, ads,
social media, etc.

4) Deadline March 31, 2026

5) All submitted pictures become property of Performance Distributors Inc.

6) All photos may be used by Performance Distributors Inc for promotional purposes.

7) Each entrant shall be limited to one (1) win during any twelve (12) month period.
