☀️🍂 Autumn: when the leaves are beautiful, the air is crisp…and you spend half your commute trying not to stare directly into the sun. 😎

Shorter days mean more of us are headed to work around sunrise and sunset, when the sun is low enough to create some pretty intense glare.

One easy way to help? Clean the inside of your windshield! That cloudy film you barely notice most of the time can become VERY noticeable when sunlight hits it just right.

Consider this your friendly reminder to grab the glass cleaner before your next golden-hour drive.

Brake pads usually get most of the attention, but they’re only part of what we’re looking at.

Your pads and rotors work together every time you stop, so when we check your brakes, we want to see how both are wearing and how the whole system looks.

Not sure where yours stand? A brake inspection is one of our Great 8 Free Services. Bring it by and we’ll take a look, no charge.

There’s a reason we may take your car for a drive before we start looking for the problem.

We’re listening, feeling, and paying attention to when something doesn’t seem quite right. Does the noise show up when we brake? Does the vibration change with speed? Does it only happen when we turn?

Those little details can tell us a lot. The more we can learn from what the car is doing on the road, the better idea we have of where to start looking back at the shop.

🏎️ In 2025, Michigan Corvette owner Delino Barash was shopping when an older woman approached him. She had noticed his Corvette and asked: Would he be willing to take her 92-year-old husband for a ride?

Delino didn't hesitate. The car had belonged to his late brother, Donavan, and Delino said agreeing to the ride felt like exactly the kind of thing his brother would have done.

So, the two took a four-mile drive together. The 92-year-old passenger couldn't believe it was really happening and told Delino that the experience made his entire year.

Four miles. A few minutes. One very happy passenger. ❤️

There are plenty of reasons to take care of your brakes. This October, there’s one more. 💗

“It makes a weird noise sometimes.”

That might not feel like much to go on, but it’s a good place to start.

You know what’s normal for your car, so we want to hear what feels different. We’ll ask a few questions, make sure those details get to the technician, and use what you’ve noticed to help guide where we start looking.

You bring what you know about your car. We’ll bring what we know about cars. Bring those two together, and we’ve got a pretty good place to start.

Today, we remember September 11 and the lives forever changed by it.

We honor those we lost, those who answered the call to help, and the strength shown in the days that followed.
Never forget.
