Happy Monday everyone!
A couple of announcements I need to make. Effective today, Monday April 1st, all credit card transactions will incur a 3% merchant processing fee. I have never charged cc fee up to this point and it’s cost me 10’s of thousands of dollars over the years.
As some customers already know, I have given up my ‘back shop’ which was primarily used for car overflow and storage of customer and personal cars. As a result I have much less parking space for the time being. Due to that any car that is left for more then 48 hours after notification that the job is complete will incur a $30 a day storage fee. Again I’ve never once charged any customer storage fee and I’ve had car left of weeks-months at a time. Also related to this if any customer has their car towed in without an appointment or even so much as a heads up the car will be denied drop off if during business hours, if after hours the car will be towed away at customers expense.
Last but not least, a reminder that I am a one man shop. I feel I do a good job getting cars in and out of the shop as fast as I can for how busy I typically am. There are a lot of things I cannot control such as back ordered parts, time it takes for machine work, shipping delays, emergencies, ext ext. so texting, calling, emailing, or stopping by the shop unannounced does not make things go faster. You will be the first person to know your car is done, trust me. My focus has always been and will continue to be quality over quantity.
