Pleasurecraft Engine Group (PEG) is issuing this Informational Notice in response to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s announcement on March 25, 2026, regarding a temporary emergency waiver permitting the nationwide sale of E15 gasoline (15% ethanol) during the summer driving season, beginning May 1.

PEG reminds dealers and end users that the use of E15 gasoline in marine engine applications is prohibited by federal law and may result in engine damage.

Important Fuel Guidance:

Ethanol-blended fuel rated E10 or lower is approved for use.

Fuels containing more than 10% ethanol (E10) must not be used.

Damage resulting from the use of fuel with an ethanol content greater than E10 is not covered under warranty.
