We ran this engine through three test and tune phases on the dyno.

Custom LS3 427 Stroker Dyno Run for a '72 Chevelle!

Welcome back to Proformance Unlimited! Today we are showing off a beautiful LS3 427 cubic inch stroker motor we built for Roy’s 1972 Chevy Chevelle.

The customer requested a custom blue paint job for the block, which looks incredible paired with the black accessories (we're just waiting to throw the black coil covers on before it ships out).

Dyno Day: 7.3L Ford Godzilla 625HP Edition

In this run, we're testing a 7.3L Ford Godzilla engine on the dyno, built specifically for a '68 Ford Gran Torino. This build is our 625 HP edition package.

We start with two warm-up passes, pulling from 3,000 to 4,500 RPM and then 3,000 to 5,500 RPM. Everything looked and sounded beautiful, so we went ahead with the full power pull, taking it from 3,000 all the way to 6,400 RPM.

Dyno Results:

Max Horsepower: 644 HP

Max Torque: 626 lb-ft

This engine definitely woke up and over-delivered on power! It’s ready to make that '68 Gran Torino a true street beast.
