**Low Cost ECU Flashing & Tuning**
We now offer ECU reading and flashing for all your tuning and configuring needs (as long as your vehicle is supported by our software).
Starting out, I'll be charging customers the one-time cost of licensing their vehicle with HP Tuners (usually $100), plus $200 per day of labor.
Soon, I will also be offering remote tuning services with HP Tuners using their app. Essentially, you purchase an OBDII scanner that you get to keep and, using the app on your phone, can read your vehicle's data, send it to me, and I can send you back files to flash onto the ECU. If you don't have time to see me in person but still want a remote tuner to keep up with your vehicle's running condition and provide updates to your ECU to keep it running in tip-top shape, there's no easier way than with me.
There's a lot more to ECU flashing than you may think, especially with newer vehicles. There are many options for performance and those are what ECU tuning is most known for. However, most of the band-aid solution performance mods like chip tuning and throttle response mapping can be done in the ECU and it'll actually be done properly, as well as hundreds of other parameters like transmission response, idle RPMs, speed limiters, even cutting power to the air conditioner to avoid sapping torque from the engine at wide open throttle... There's too much to list.
If you want to properly get the most out of your car, give me half of the money another shop will charge you and let me whisper sweet nothings to your ECU. And I promise, unlike the other shops, I'm not going to throw in a half-assed cookie cutter tune and risk blowing your engine in six months. I actually give a s**t. I want to help my customers build the best project cars. Something everyone will be proud of.
