🙄🤦♂️I can’t with some of these HOA’s! Calling her a Karen would be an insult to every Karen on planet Earth! Picture it, Melbourne FL 2026. A hard working Angelo’s Wash Wagon mobile auto detailing pulls up to a clients home to detail a vehicle in an HOA neighborhood. I had a temporary U-Haul truck with magnets on the doors and my work trailer behind it with giant business logos too. I start unloading my equipment to work and some random woman just walks up so I take off my headphones only to be attacked! She instantly demanded to know who I was, where I was from and why I was there! She then fired off a bunch of personal questions like a machine gun and would not stop! She was insisting I was moving into the neighborhood since I had a U-Haul truck and asked me over and over why I had a U-Haul.
I told her several times it was a temporary rental after an accident and I’m just there to work! I’m not moving in!!!!! I pointed to the logos, I literally showed her the inside of the truck and trailer full of auto detailing tools and machines. She looked at me like I was lying and said there are no homes for sale on her street according to her knowledge so that means no one should be moving in! She demanded that if I’m going to move into her neighborhood she had a right to know who I was! 🤯 OMG!!!! It was then I realized she was one of those HOA committee zombies with a glazed look in her eyes that apparently owned the entire street and needed to know everything that was happening no matter what. She was a goner. That brain was completely shot. I just stopped engaging and totally ignored her.
I REALLY wanted to tell her that she had red lipstick💄ALL over her teeth but sadly didn’t. I put my headphones back on while she was still yapping with those friggin teeth and I just stepped around her to get my tools and left her there. She stood for a bit and then finally walked off after realizing I wasn’t bowing down and accepted her defeat. Oy Vey! Anywho, book me next Space Coast! I’ll be moving in……..I mean working in your neighborhood soon!!!!!! 🚗🫧🧽Angelo’s Wash Wagon mobile auto detailing
