A Beautiful Day come shop, eat and to take in the final day of the activities set up for the America 250 Celebration!!!

Coming to Medora for one more day of the America 250 Festival? Maybe a tour of the Presidential Library? Tickets for the Pitchfork Steak Fondue & Medora Musical?

Well the good news is transportation plans return to mostly “normal” today!

A few key things to know for July 5th:

🚌 The Medora Blue Line shuttles will run at their normal times and routes, but at reduced capacity.

🚙The Fryburg parking lot & shuttles will only be utilized today if the need for overflow parking arises.

🚋 The Medora Stage Line Trolley returns to its normal routes and operations today! (See the graphic for more info!)

⚠️ The restricted access to the butte for The Medora Musical & Pitchfork Steak Fondue has been removed! You can drive your passenger vehicles up like any other day, but please avoid parking on the west end of the parking lot near the fencing for the bus lines.

⛔️ Controlled access for The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library parking lot remains in effect for today. Please refer to the in-town blue line shuttle for access to TRPL.

🚗 The paid parking lot west of Hotel 1883 will be closed starting today, with plenty of free options to park in Medora.

🗓️Starting tomorrow, July 6th, all traffic and parking restrictions will have concluded and Medora will return to its normal operations.

PARKING UPDATE | July 4, 8am - Happy Independence Day!

Great news! Parking is available in Medora and we're expecting visitors to be able to park in town throughout the day. Take either Exit 27 and 24 to enter Medora. Fryburg at Exit 36 is still available if you'd like to catch the free shuttle.

We'll continue to monitor conditions and share updates here if anything changes. Have a safe and memorable Fourth of July!

Medora isn’t pack with all the people they anticipated so if you don’t have other plans and are looking for something to do drive on in and shop the businesses in town, check out Chimney Park and the food trucks, let the kids burn of some energy and Enjoy Medora!!
